Jedidiah walked along the halls, gaping at all the lovely decorations. As he walked, he spotted his new friend Taz, holding her little Jedidiah wrapped in a quilt the professor had crafted for him. They stayed at the hospital a while longer because she and her child had developed lung problems.
“Hello, Taz,” Jed said as he walked over.
“Ah, hello, Jed,” Taz wheezed, “I see you’re out to see the décor as well.”

The birds sang, and Big Brother flew himself through a window of Saint Orion’s National Health, straight into one room in particular, numbered 406. Big Brother landed on a boy’s body, laying their head peacefully on a white pillow. He chirped “Good Morning,” and the boy’s head shifted. “Jed? You awake yet, son?” Professor Yul asked, opening the door to the room. Jed shook his head to move his hair, revealing his dazzling yellow eyes. Yul smiled, holding a tray out to Jed.
